3-layered construction provides the most stable format for engineered hardwood flooring, when produced with the single species hardwood core layer we use – Hevea Brasiliensis. Hevea shares a similar density and strength as White Oak and outperforms plywood or softwood core material. This means that not only can we produce wider, more attractive floor boards, our material has far greater stability under extreme climatic conditions from the sub-zero winters of Scandinavia to the year-round warmth and humidity of South East Asia.

The Hevea used in Timbertop flooring is sourced from documented plantations in Indonesia. Where a sustainability certification applies, the relevant scheme and product scope are identified in shipping documentation.
No, only European Oak is used in Timbertop flooring which is sourced from documented suppliers in western Europe and is subject to applicable timber-legality due diligence, and is well documented.
Globally we comply with the TSCA (USA), European Union Deforestation (EUDR) and applicable standards for all our other export markets. FSC® and PEFC certified flooring is available for products covered by Timbertop’s current chain-of-custody certification, must be specified at time of purchase prior to production. In Europe we export Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) licenced material and supply certification with every shipment.
Our products have been tested and certified by international bodies including:
