Wood is a renewable material when forests and plantations are managed and regenerated. Timbertop uses plantation-grown Hevea in the core for our engineered flooring.

We use plantation-grown Hevea, originally cultivated for natural-rubber production, in the core of our engineered flooring. The timber is recovered when the trees are replaced at the end of their latex-producing cycle. Plantation-grown timber represents approximately 70% of the volume of three-layer flooring constructions. Exact composition varies by product.

Our engineered flooring features a hardwood wear layer bonded to a plantation-grown hardwood core, enabling premium face timber to cover a larger flooring area than an equivalent-thickness in a solid hardwood plank.
